Featuring 100% Grass-fed suet tallow, pure cholesterol and olive squalane which nourish in every layer as bio-identical lipids. Organic coconut oil and unrefined shea butter provide more saturated lipids for added protection. Tallow Powered Lotion For The Whole Family
Most formulas are mostly water and seed oils, which do very little to help the skin hold on to moisture.
Ours is built on grass-fed suet tallow, organic coconut oil and unrefined shea butter, lipids that mirror your skin's own barrier.
But we also include Vit B5 and Vit E, which capture moisture and protect against stressors.
It's both serum and balm, all-in-one.
Use it any time, but for extra hydration go right after bathing, smoothing lotion on within three minutes traps that water in instead of letting it evaporate.

In two studies, researchers damaged skin's barrier with tape stripping or repeated washing with a harsh detergent, then treated it with glycerol, the same humectant as our coconut glycerin. Glycerol-treated sites repaired their barrier faster and held significantly more moisture, with benefits still visible a week after treatment ended.

UCSF dermatology researchers tested a naturally occurring lipid mixture of animal origin, rich in cholesterol and fatty acids. In human volunteers, it sped up barrier recovery after the skin was stripped and significantly raised skin moisture within two hours, even on normal skin. It's the idea behind feeding skin real animal fats like tallow.

No. It's a light lotion, not a balm, so it absorbs within a minute or two and you can get dressed right away.

Skin is most hydrated right after bathing. Lotion applied within a few minutes helps hold that moisture in longer.

Barely anything. There's no added fragrance, just a faint, clean scent from the natural butters.

It contains water, and anything with water needs protection from mold and bacteria. We use Geogard™ with a probiotic ferment instead of parabens or phenoxyethanol. Our balms are water-free, so they don't need one.
